Junior Engineer – Installation

Role Purpose

We are seeking a Junior Engineer – Installation to support the successful delivery of elevator and escalator projects across the UAE.

This role offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to prestigious projects while developing technical, project management, coordination, and leadership capabilities within the vertical transportation industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Support and supervise elevator and escalator installation activities at project sites.
• Coordinate with technicians, subcontractors, consultants, contractors, and other project stakeholders.
• Ensure installation activities comply with Mitsubishi Electric’s safety, quality, and technical standards.
• Review engineering drawings, specifications, installation procedures, and related technical documentation.
• Monitor project progress, resource utilization, manpower requirements, and installation schedules.
• Assist with testing, commissioning, inspections, and resolution of technical issues.
• Support workforce planning and the development and performance improvement of field technicians.
• Maintain effective coordination between site teams and internal project stakeholders.
• Contribute to the safe, timely, and efficient completion of installation activities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related discipline.

Experience

• Minimum 4 years of Middle East experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Elevator and escalator installation
  • Electromechanical projects
  • Construction or engineering project execution
• Experience within the elevator and escalator industry will be an advantage.

Skills & Competencies

• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Good understanding of HSE requirements and quality standards.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Good organizational, planning, and time-management abilities.
• Ability to work effectively in a site-based, project-driven environment.
• Fluency in written and spoken English.
